I am a huge shoe lover. I always have been. Back when I was in high school, my parents first caught onto my addiction and tried to cut me off, but to no avail. I can remember going to buy new shoes and hiding them in the front closet so my parents wouldn't know and later sneaking them into my room! I live by the quote: “Really and truly you can never have too many pairs; they are all different. You need a pair for every mood – and everyone knows that women have a lot of different moods.”
Any deal in which I can get an amazing pair of shoes for a discount is one that I am a fan of. When I spotted the deal for $80 to spend at City Soles (located in Wicker Park, Chicago), where they boast of having ‘Shoes for people with a sole,' I obviously knew it was calling my name.

The boutique is located on North Avenue, a few doors down from the Damen stop on the CTA Blue Line. They always have a sophisticated and unique collection of shoes which are carefully picked by the store owners to bring European luxury to Chicago – literally shoe heaven. I have often browsed through the store, but the imported shoes also come at a sometimes steep price.
Enter my deal! I knew before going exactly which pair of shoes I wanted from a previous visit: The Beau Pink flat made by Shelly, a London brand. The flats are nude with a T-strap and a bright red bow on the toe – absolutely adorable!
The quirky sales associate was very helpful in fitting me in my size, and even suggested I walk home in my new shoes and put my other pair in the box. I felt like Carrie Bradshaw in Sex and the City… classy, stylish, and killing it in my new shoes.
