Chicago

Stella’s Out in… CHICAGO

I lived in Chicago for three years and still feel like there’s so much I didn’t have a chance to explore. The city is huge, which can be overwhelming. For foodies it is heaven, with boutique brunch spots, authentic Mexican cuisine, and new places popping up all the time. Sometimes it seemed hard to keep up with the ever evolving restaurant scene. If you are wondering about things to do, check out my posts for various activities throughout the city. I also have included restaurant reviews and a few reviews for hotels (for when I needed a staycation). I hope they help you plan an exciting trip to the Windy City!

Enjoying Hibachi at Todoroki

There is something magical about seeing your food cooked right in front of you. In Chocolate Heaven with the Great Food Tours

Anyone who says they don’t love chocolate is lying. There is a kind of chocolate for every palette: milk chocolate for traditionalists, dark chocolate for romantics, plain chocolate for purists, or chocolate with a hint of other flavors for explorers. Anything made with chocolate is a little taste of heaven, so when I found a […] Read more…

Brunching German Style at Prost!

There is no better way to enjoy a beautiful weekend morning (or afternoon) in Chicago than to grab Brunch. The list of reasons to love this mealtime combination of breakfast and lunch is long but includes: 1) You can drink (sometimes unlimited) bloody mary’s or mimosas and no one will judge you 2) You can […] Read more…

… Under the Influence

There is nothing like seeing one of your favorite artists perform live at a concert. The energy in the air and the music coursing through you, as you belt the words out to the songs, is an electric feeling that really can’t be replicated. I had the chance to see Wiz Khalifa this summer at […] Read more…
