Drinking Killer Margaritas at Cesar's

The phrase ‘It's five o'clock somewhere' was invented for people who love margaritas. No matter what time of day it is – morning, noon, or night – if someone suggests getting margs, I am definitely down. As a lover of the classic cocktail, I am always on the lookout for any excuse I can get to enjoy a salty-rimmed delight – the bigger, the better! You can therefore imagine my joy upon discovering a deal sponsored by Cesar's, a Mexican restaurant in Chicago known for their killer margaritas. I was so excited for the deal that I have used it not once, not twice, but three times now. Hey… I told you, I love margaritas.

The Vibe:

On my most recent visit to Cesars, some friends and I decided to take advantage of the deal for $50 worth of food in order to celebrate the start to the weekend. Once seated at our table, we enjoyed the complimentary chips and salsa (made fresh daily!), which I almost always have a refill of at some point (this visit was no different). The vibe at Cesar's is casual and the service is always friendly and fast.

The Food & Drinks:

Cesar's is most famous for its killer margaritas, so upon each visit I make sure to sample one… you know for quality. The margaritas come in two styles – frozen or on the rocks – and in a variety of flavors. Some flavors you would expect (Lime, Raspberry, Strawberry) and others you may not (Banana, Guava, Tamarindo). They also feature seasonal flavors, with the newest addition of Orange Passion Pommarita.

On my most recent visit, my friends and I decided to split a pitcher of strawberry margaritas on the rocks. We were all seasoned veterans of Cesars, and knew no matter which flavor we ordered, we would enjoy every sip. And enjoy it we did! Right down to the last drop.

Along with our drinks, we also ordered some of the authentic Mexican food that the restaurant offers. We shared an order of steak nachos which went perfectly with our killer margaritas. I don't remember taking too many bites, but all too soon it was gone. On other visits to Cesar's, I have enjoyed their tacos and burritos, both which were delicious and satisfying.
