Every summer, Budweiser hosts a tour around the country before launching its Made in America Festival in the fall. The tour stops in 30 different cities and features musical performances for attendees to enjoy as well as FREE BEER and FREE FOOD. If you haven't been, you are seriously missing out. The best part of the whole experience (besides the complimentary beer of course) is the fact that it is absolutely free to attend.

I went this year for the second time in Chicago and had a blast. This summer it was held at the legendary Aragon Ballroom, which is located north of downtown in Uptown, Chicago. The ballroom has premiered some of the top bands in music and celebrated its 88th anniversary this July.

Of course, as soon as I entered, I made a beeline for the free food. We could choose from Lou Malnati's pizza or Chicago style hot dogs from Portillos. Confession: I got both because I couldn't decide between two equally amazing choices. After washing my dinner down with some Budweiser (and then more and more and more… please don't judge! It was free, remember?!), I danced the night away with friends until the main performance of the night. This year featured Girl Talk, the dynamic DJ who specializes in mashups of popular songs. During his performance, I finagled my way onto the stage to end the night in the most epic way possible!

The Deal:

I Spent: Nothing!

I Got: to drink free beer all night and to see GirlTalk perform
