The Manhattan at Times Square Hotel

One of my passions is traveling. Before 2014 came to a close, my boyfriend and I decided to take one last trip together to end the year off right. Since my sister currently lives and goes to school in New York, it seemed a logical choice for our trip: visit my sister and one of the most famous cities in the world. Growing up in Boston, I have visited NYC numerous times, but my boyfriend had only briefly been once. We looked around for deals on a hotel  and found a great one at The Manhattan at Times Square Hotel.

Location, Location, Location

One of the biggest perks of The Manhattan at Times Square Hotel is the location. A 5 minute walk can have you near a large number of major attractions in New York City: Rockefeller Plaza, Radio City Music Hall, Broadway Theater District and of course Times Square. It also is located conveniently close to more than one Subway stop for those trips that travelers might want to take outside of the Times Square area. Within a few blocks are stations for the B, D, E, N, Q, and R trains, which can take you almost anywhere you would want to go!

The Room

Our room at the hotel was spacious and comfortable. We got all of the accoutrements often found in hotel rooms:

  • Flat screen TV with cable channels
  • Work desk and chair (great for businessmen)
  • Large bathroom and shower/tub
  • Vanity mirror and hairdryer (for looking your best)
  • Tea and coffeemaker (to help wake up)
  • Iron and ironing board (can't go out looking all wrinkly)
  • Radio alarm clock (so you won't miss your flight! Or a second of fun in NYC)
  • Wake-up service (if your alarm is not enough)
  • Electronic Safe (just in case)

We had a room along 7th Avenue which had great views of the hustle and bustle below. The rooms also come with double-pane windows for when all that hustle and bustle is too much to handle and you actually want to sleep.

Bonus!

With the deal, hotel guests receive vouchers for a free breakfast from the Grab & Go bar. The voucher covers a piece of fruit, a pastry and a juice and is available in the morning starting at 6:00 AM.

If guests arrive before check-in time, luggage storage is available free of charge! Great news because you seriously can't drag your luggage through Times Square. You would hate it, and so would all of the people whose felt you run over with your bag. For those out-of-towners, cars to the airport are also available upon request and cost a little less than a cab ride. Make sure to reserve them in advance, as they do get booked and might not always be available.

And for the gym rats, the hotel offers unlimited access to their fitness center which is conveniently open 24/7.

If you are in New York and looking for a convenient and lovely hotel to stay in, The Manhattan at Times Square is an absolute must!

  1. Hi there just wanted to give you a quick heads up.
The text in your content seem to be running off the

The layout look great though! Hope you get the problem fixed soon. Thanks
