Stella’s Out in… CHICAGO

I lived in Chicago for three years and still feel like there’s so much I didn’t have a chance to explore. The city is huge, which can be overwhelming. For foodies it is heaven, with boutique brunch spots, authentic Mexican cuisine, and new places popping up all the time. Sometimes it seemed hard to keep up with the ever evolving restaurant scene. If you are wondering about things to do, check out my posts for various activities throughout the city. I also have included restaurant reviews and a few reviews for hotels (for when I needed a staycation). I hope they help you plan an exciting trip to the Windy City!

Authentic Mexican Food at Tacos Tequilas

There are certain restaurants that I am always disappointed I didn’t discover earlier than I did. Tacos Tequilas is one of those restaurants. Located on Milwaukee in the Avondale neighborhood of Chicago, this little Mexican spot serves up some of the best tacos I have ever had! There are many places in Chicago that boast […] Read more…

On Saturday March 7, 2015 the Chicago Children’s Museum hosted their fifth annual Hide N Seek Gala. The event was held after hours in the museum with proceeds going directly to the museum to help with their innovative exhibits and educational training.
